We are accepting applications from currently serving police officers in Canada that have completed their one-year probation period and are in good standing with their current Police Service.

How to Apply

To apply, please submit an application (on-line or download). You would then need to forward:

a) Resume
b) Copies of courses taken through your Police Service or Police College;
c) Proof of fitness pin, or have the ability to complete fitness testing prior to hire;
d) Current First Aid and CPR (Level C)
e) Copies of evaluations, if you have them.
f) Secondary and post-secondary diplomas and transcripts
g) Proof of valid Ontario Glass G driver’s licence

Applicants from other Police Services outside Ontario would need to complete an exemption process from the Ontario Police College, with the exception of the R.C.M.P. 

All applications will be screened and competitive candidates would be contacted for an interview. 

Upon Hire

As a newly hired currently serving officer, your time served from your other police service shall be included with determining your entitlement for annual leave. Annual leave is determined in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

Sworn officers are hired at their current class and if not 1st Class, must participate in yearly rank graduation exams until 1st Class is attained.
