HOW DOES IT WORK?

By calling the toll free number, 1-888-818-4808, you will be prompted to leave a message on an answering machine regarding the following: details of the assault along with as much offender description possible i.e.: name (if known), physical descriptors, tattoos, ethnicity etc.; vehicle description, license plate number, color, make and model; city, location and date of offence.

WHY?

Information gathered could be the missing link needed in identifying a serial predator. Working in the sex trade makes you a vulnerable target, and they count on the fact you are not likely to report any crimes against you. The information you give will be tracked on a database maintained within the Niagara Regional Police Service, Investigative Analysis Unit. The Bad Date Line does not subscribe to caller ID and no attempts will be made to identify callers.
